Greig is so kind and knows so much about history and his country! Because of the weather, our day trip was initially in jeopardy. However, Greig contacted us the day before and created an alternative plan for us and even took us on a few off-road adventures to explore! He’s also a great guide to spend the day with! His professionalism, attentiveness, and passion for the region made this excursion truly unique. The landscapes were breathtaking, with majestic mountains, shimmering lochs, and pristine nature. We absolutely loved our Daytrip to the highlands with Greig. Specially the Turfhouse replica, was such a nice experience, also the cozy Restaurant/Bar . Greig was telling us the interesting stories & history behind it all & that was just great ! We were a family of 7 including grandma & younger siblings, he was patient, flexible & we all enjoyed the time with him . He offered as well to take us some pictures with his camera to keep the memories of that day!
Also was giving us some local tips & tricks about the surroundings !

You can tell he genuinely loves what he does — his passion for sharing his country’s culture and stories is inspiring and truly elevated every stop on the tour, from Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns to Fort Augustus, Urquhart Castle, and the legendary Loch Ness. We booked Greig for a two day tour up into the Highlands. Gave him free range to come up with an itinerary, and he did a fantastic job. We had to make a few adjustments due to traffic issues but he quickly came up with additional things to check out. I thoroughly enjoyed the history and stories he was able to tell. We learned so much I know we wouldn't ever known if we were on our own. He was accommodating, thoughtful and so nice. He is definitely worth booking with!!

We spent 5 days exploring Scotland with Greig and it was truly one of the best parts of our trip. He customized the entire tour to exactly what we wanted, took us to hidden places we would have never found on our own, and made every stop feel special and intentional. He was also incredibly patient with us,we definitely got distracted by shops along the way 😅and never made us feel rushed. We have asked Greig to plan our four day trip and we can definitely say that the results exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in for something special. We took a day tour with Greig on Skye. We truly enjoyed every moment. The tour Greig planned for us was perfect! It's wonderful that you're driven everywhere and along the way he tells you about the history and provides super interesting stories. Nina absolutely loved going on an active adventure with him (and and sitting in the front seat of the car, and the playlist with the Scottish songs she also knew). We wouldn't have wanted to experience this day on Skye any other way, and not without Greig's company. We had a blast! If we ever return to Scotland and book a tour, we will definitely do it with Greig again!

I spent a lovely day with greig visiting Stirling castle and the Wallace Monument. Greig delivered a lot of interesting information while showing me the best views and Lots of interesting Details. After a very nice full scottish for Lunch we drove out to a beautiful viewpoint on the bonnie banks of loch lomond, and we even climbed down to the Devil's pulpit. Greig is a very nice and good humoured guide, and i will certainly be back and Do another Tour with him next time i'm around.

I'm not sure I can put into words how very special Greig made our trip. I have dreamed of the Scottish Highlands for fifty years. When I found Scotland Uncovered, I hoped to find exactly what I had always thought it would be. Greig took my somewhat careless ideas and turned the four-ish days into the best trip! We saw castles, highland coos, the Glens and the lochs. He was very patient with two old people and he shared his favorite places with us. We did a "fish and chips" tour around the highlands and I'll never be able to eat fish and chips at home again. Everything and everywhere was exactly as I had pictured it since I was a child. I am grateful I found Greig, and can recommend him for whatever your fantasy of Scotland may be. Thank you, Greig!

One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Greig and taking a road trip with him to the highlands and boy, it was absolutely amazing. Greig is a proud Scott who knows his history and country on his finger tips. Polite, humble, affectionate, a true gentleman, picked my heavy bags, took care of our comfort and came prepared with multiple snacks and drink for the road, not to mention he gave his iPad to my boys to play so that they don’t get bored… who does that these days? How can we forget Greig and his manners…I would for sure contact Greig without thinking twice, whenever I plan to visit Scotland again, because there’s no regret going with him but pure joy.

He created a trip for us that was fun and informative and beautiful! also, in spite of a couple of hiccups, due to weather or other issues in our itinerary, he always figured out an alternative to our day. we were never bored or let down by him in any way! we've recommended him to all of our friends should they make the trip, and would gladly refer him to anyone who wants a personable and informative tour guide.
